Remember in my last post that I wasn’t ready for summer to be over? Yeah, I’m still not ready and living in Florida there isn’t too much of transition weather wise. But Fall will be here soon and it’s time to start switching up the wardrobe. Now I’m not saying we should break out the coats and sweaters just yet but there are ways to stretch out those summer clothes for a little bit longer!
Layer it Up!
For those days when it’s too cool to go sleeveless but too hot for a coat, those light cardigans and fitted blazers you rocked during the Spring will be your life savers. A ¾ sleeve jacket adds sophistication to a breezy maxi while a belted cardigan can you take your sleeveless top from weekend casual to office ready. Oh and I can’t forget a great jean jacket! It goes with everything!
Have fun with Tights
Not ready to give up those short, flirty dresses? Me neither and you totally don’t have to! It’s the perfect opportunity to break out a pair of tights. Go with neutral colors like black if you like to play it safe or be more daring with patterns. Feeling even more adventurous? Wear them with a pair of shorts. 😉
Scarves are your Best Friends
I don’t care what season it is, I cannot live without my bright colors. It could be one of the reasons I love summer fashion so much! So while wearing bright neon clothes in October could be a fashion no-no, a coral colored scarf isn’t. Throw them over a long sleeved Tee or use it as a shawl over an LBD. There are so many ways to wear one so you can keep the summer times going!
There some great summer trends that you can carry over to Fall like:
Black and White
Fringe
Faux Leather
