Fierce Fragrance: Harajuku Lovers Wicked Style Collection

I was first put on to Harajuku Lovers last year when I reviewed their Snow Bunny collection.  One thing I absolutely love about these fragrances are the adorable bottles they come in, making great bedroom decorations long after the perfume is gone.  This year these Japanese inspired girls (Love, Lil Angel, Music, G, and Baby) are dressed in their own Wicked Style in this new collection.  They are decked out in bright colored threads, cool accessories, and totally punked out hair, taking cues from Japanese fashion.  Lil’ Angel and Baby are the new additions to my fragrance collection and when I received them for review I was anxious to know if the fragrance was just as good as the bottle!

 Lil’ Angel aka Gothic Lolita

Her style is my absolute favorite!  She’s rocking the all black outfit with Rhianna Red hair.  The perfume smells really good, getting whiffs of the plum and champagne notes.  It smells sweet without being too fruity.  Despite her loud her, her scent is very feminine yet let’s you know that Lolita is in the room.

Baby aka Kawaii/Decora

She has more of a girly look with her bright yellow outfit and powder pink hair. Her perfume is girly as well, much lighter than Lolita’s with a mixture of vanilla floral and glowing amber.  It’s light and airy, perfect to wear all day long!

Fierce OOTD: Thanksgiving Edition

I swear I wish it could Thanksgiving all the time!  It’s one of my favorite holidays because I get to do two of my favorite things – eat and shop!

On Thanksgiving Day I spent the day with my Abuelita, who cooked just about everything!  I made sure my outfit was extra comfy because I was going to need all the room I could get!  The food was awesome as usual and I always love an excuse to spend time with my family!

I also took the opportunity to rock this plus size top I received from Fashion to Figure. They specialize in dressing curvy girls like me and I have to say I absolutely loved this blouse!  It fit where I wanted too and covered up what I needed it too!  The print is very Bohemian chic and I’m such a fan of bell sleeves. It was crazy comfortable and I got a ton of compliments on it! (and just a tidbit, they are having Cyber Monday sale where they will take 30% off your entire order using the code SHOPNOW). The jean skorts are from Kohls and the suede wedges are from Naturalizer.

Because my husband had to work on Thanksgiving, we cooked our own dinner on Saturday.  He did an awesome with the turkey and my mac n’ cheese was the business! He also cooked fresh string beans sautéed in garlic and bacon and I made fresh mash potatoes, stuffing, and crescent rolls.  It was our first time cooking like this together and I have to admit, we make an awesome culinary team!

Beauty Blast: Three Ultra-Conditioning Body Washes from SoftSoap

Winter season could spell dryer skin and it’s important to make sure we’re updating our beauty regimens to keep it properly moisturized.  Though it never feels like real winter down in here, I do suffer from dry skin so I was anxious to review these three body washes from SoftSoap.  All three promise to keep your skin nourished and hydrated.  Skin moisturizing does start in the shower and as a girl who swears by body wash, I do have high expectations!

Body Butter Mega Moisture Heavenly Vanilla

Just the fact it had body butter in the name, I used this one first!  Let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint!  The formula is rich and thick, giving you such an awesome lather.  The vanilla scent is heavenly and after a week of use, I realized my skin wasn’t as dry as it normally was after the shower.  Out of the three this was my absolute favorite!

Black Orchid & Velvet Hibiscus

The formula in this one is enriched with hibiscus extract, a natural skin condition that leaves skin soft and moisturized.  In the fragrance department, this one wins hands down!  It has a nice, clean floral scent that lingers after the shower.  As a moisturizing body wash, it worked rather well, leaving my skin soft and moisturized (though not as moisturized as the Body Butter one!)

Nutri Serums Mineral Extracts

The tiny beads in this body wash is filled with mineral extracts that aim to enhance skin’s radiance while giving your skin the nutrients it needs to be soft and healthy.  The fragrance is nice and my skin did feel soft afterwards.  However, out of the three, I didn’t find myself using this one much.  It’s not that it was a horrible body wash, but I didn’t find anything extraordinary about it, especially when compared with the other three.

Have any of you ladies used these body washes before?  What are your thoughts?
